I'm Daniel 👋

I’m a Senior Product Designer. I turn complex problems into accessible, user-friendly solutions. I use research and product thinking to create products that meet user needs and support business goals.

Since 2019, I’ve worked across B2B and B2C products, including enterprise SaaS at MRI Software, public-sector work through the NZ GovTech Accelerator, and earlier internships with Google and BNZ. My experience spans web and mobile products, from early research through to shipped solutions.

Education & learning

I completed a Master of User Experience Design at Victoria University of Wellington, building a strong foundation in research, accessibility and interaction design. I continue to develop my skills through hands-on product work, IxDF and accessibility learning with Deque University.

Mentoring & community

I volunteer as a Design Mentor with Summer of Tech, supporting emerging designers with UX, portfolios and career development. I’ve also contributed to community initiatives including Access Matters Aotearoa.

Beyond design

I enjoy staying active, spending time with friends and getting outdoors. I love exploring new places around New Zealand and making the most of its beaches, walks and incredible scenery.
